Philosophy
We are a full service architectural firm located on Saint Simons Island, Georgia offering our clients a wealth of experience and customer service, because our staff is a mix of seasoned professionals and young designers. Our staff has completed thousands of projects during the firms’ existence. These project types include governmental, educational, commercial, financial, medical, multi-family and single family residences. Every project is treated with the attention and commitment necessary to insure the highest level of quality and craftsmanship.
The company, was formed by Robert Ussery and Tom Rule in 1979. The firm’s services include pre-design studies for building programming and budgeting, building design, construction documents, specifications, construction phase services, contract administration and land planning.
The firm is licensed to practice architecture in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), and the US Green Building Council (USGBC) and carries professional liability insurance for all projects. Locally we are members of the Keep Brunswick-Golden Isles Beautiful, the Chamber of Commerce, and SSI Land Trust.
We are dedicated to providing professional and personal services based on our clients’ needs and to see each project through a successful completion. The firm utilizes the latest computer technology to provide clients with improved services in the form of superior quality drawings, faster production times and added flexibility during the design and production process. We are currently using AutoCAD 2018 software suite for the production of drawings and construction documents, as well as MASTERSPEC for the production of specification documents.
We pride ourselves in maintaining a long lasting professional relationship with many of our clients, as evidenced by the number of clients that have successfully completed more than one project with the firm and often times refer us to future clients.
